These terms cover your use of Searchlight, run by Divina Endeavors LLC, doing business as Hero Apps (“we”). By using Searchlight you agree to them.

What Searchlight does

Searchlight connects to your Google and Microsoft accounts with your permission and, when you press the setup button, makes changes in them for you: it creates or reuses a Google Analytics property, changes its data retention, adds key events, verifies your site, and adds it to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. It also gives you a snippet of code to put on your website.

Your responsibilities

• Only set up websites you own or are allowed to manage.
• You're responsible for the code you add to your website, and for telling your visitors about analytics and recordings where the law requires it, for example with a cookie notice.
• Your use of Google and Microsoft services stays subject to their own terms, including the Google Analytics terms and Microsoft Clarity terms.
• Don't use Searchlight to break the law, overload these services or get around their limits.

Price

Searchlight is free while in early access. If we introduce paid features, we'll show the price before you pay for anything.

No guarantees

We work hard to set things up correctly, but Searchlight is provided “as is”. We can't promise any search ranking, traffic or number of leads, and we don't control Google, Microsoft or how their services change.

Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of Searchlight. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.

Ending use

You can stop at any time by disconnecting your accounts; the privacy policy explains how. We may suspend access if Searchlight is misused.
